I couldn't

make yesterdays game unfortunately but have been given enough information to form an opinion. Reading Dave Cook's usual hugely descriptive match report on our official site and having spoken to him the main point of contention is again the officials. Far to often this season at our games post match discussion has centred around this particular individual. Thankfully I don't need to be as guarded as Cook has to be for the "official" site in this particular ramble so feel quite happy to express my concern, frustration and often felt anger at the standard of match official we have had to endure at our games this season. The way many of them have performed must leave third division fans aghast at how badly some of them have done. There seems to be no way to get them to explain particular decisions or their general performances and they all too often appear bumbling pompous asses. The way many of them brandish cards at will for seemingly innocuous acts all too often spoils the game for the hard pressed PAYING fans. The only group of individuals never listened to in any serious debate on our game!
