Grant back in training?

There was a whisper in the Ducket on Saturday, about the possible return of ex-defender Grant McNicoll. He was at Saturday's book signing and also took in Berwick vs Queen's Park. I've also heard that he was at the players Christmas night out at the weekend.

Rumour has it he is back training with Berwick in Edinburgh. I really hope it is true, Grant should never have been released, one of John Coughlin's mistakes last summer. Always reliable and steady on his feet, McNicoll was with us for 10 years before his contract wasn't renewed - Coughlin sited Grant's fitness as the problem.

He has recently been in talks with members of the Supporters Trust regarding a testimonial next year.
