Fantastic.
An excellent performance from Berwick on Boxing Day, a pleasure to be at Shielfield, which has been a rare feature this season. We are still 6 points behind 9th and now Ayr have been dragged into the dog fight. Those two games against Ayr and Brechin next week could potentially tighten things up at the bottom.
Diack had put us ahead with a well taken header, but Raith equalised 60 seconds later. For some reason the Raith fans decided to stand in the home end and generally make a nuisance of themselves, the boys in blue arrived at half time to move them on.
Our winning goal came just before the hour mark, Ian Little with another header. We were left to hang on for half an hour but we never looked like losing.
