Alloa Athletic vs Berwick Rangers

There are early worries about this match going ahead. It is currently freezing in Alloa and the over night temperature is forecast to drop just under freezing. However the forecast for Saturday morning is good - quite a bit milder, 7 degrees with a chance of rain. Any ground frost will have hopefully lifted in time for the 3pm kick off.

A statement has just appeared on the Official Alloa FC website, stating that there is no problem with the pitch for tomorrow's game. The wonders of a plastic pitch - apparently the pitch is still playable at -15 degrees!

So assuming the game goes ahead, we need to pick up points. I seem to find myself saying this each and every week. But it is true, we need to start picking up some points before the games start to run out. Danny Swanson will play in one of his last games for the club, before his move to Tannadice, only 2 more games remain.

Bluesq: Alloa 4/9, Draw 16/5, Berwick 9/2
Weather: Chance of showers, 7 degrees.
