Festive Make or Break

We have a gruelling schedule of fixtures over the Christmas and New Year period, with 5 games that will probably save our season or go along way to sending us through the Second Division trap door.

Here is the festive fixture list:

Sat 22 - Alloa Athletic (A)
Wed 26 - Raith Rovers (H)
Sat 29 - Airdrie United (H)

January
Wed 2 - Ayr United (A)
Sat 5 - Brechin City (H)


A potential 15 points up for grabs, by my reckoning we will be doing well to win a third of those points. If we start well with a win at Alloa and pick up some points against Raith, Airdrie Utd or Ayr we will be in a good position.

The 5th January is a real six-pointer against Brechin, if we have picked up a few points over Christmas and they have had a bad period, we could have a chance of leapfrogging them into that play-off place. Lots of 'ifs', especially as Brechin are 6 points ahead of us at the moment, but it may be our last chance at kick starting our season!
