Game 4
Gala Fairydean 6-1 Coldstream

for my developing season was back to Netherdale Galashiels last night where the home side crushed the Streamers with a convincing first half performance. The second half was much more even but overall Gala can be very pleased with their performance against a team from a higher division. Conditions for a July evening were as bad as I can remember but the pitch stood up well, as did some of the spectators!

Game 5
Berwick Rangers 4-2 Hibs X1

Very encouraging performance at a sparsely populated Shielfield. Berwick played a neat passing game where personnel were changed frequently. Was impressed by the trialist from Leith Athletic and Andy McLean who was also playing as a trialist. McMullan down the left supplied some good crosses. In the past we've not performed against teams like this but the lads certainly done the business today. Got both new tops as well, I quite like them, pity more weren't sold today though.
