Gala Fairydean 1-6 Annan Athletic

Second game this weekend on another belting hot day this time at Netherdale. As a point when I left Berwick it was raining and when I got back it was the same. When I got into the car after the game it read 29 degrees and it felt like it! Annan were differently kitted out today in their home strip, compared to yesterdays all blue, and a different side as well. Were Gala worse than Vale, the score says yes but lets not be too unkind at this stage of the season. Gala charged £3 to get it and like yesterday produced a 16 page programme, well done to their programme editor. Had a pre match pint in their well kitted out club in the stand, oh how we could do with something similar at Shielfield.
