New club website

It's up and running in all it's glory, and how good does it look? Paul Smith has done a great job, what an improved window the club now has for the world to look at. It can never be under estimated the importance of a good, professional looking site for any organisation wishing to attract individuals or sponsors, or conversely a bad one, in terms of potential damage, but we know about that, all in the past though and what we now have is, as they say, fit for purpose, well done Paul. And, off course, the Trust have been very happy to be able to finance it all in further helping the club to move forward.
Onto part 2 of our euro trip, where we went from Amsterdam to Rotterdam to catch a Friday evening game at the Stadion Woudestein between Excelsior and RKC Waalwijk in the Dutch Second Division. Something of a quaint setting, in a small ground with a capacity less than Shielfield.
Nevertheless we got a beer, and a visit to the club shop before watching the visitors demolish their hosts 5-0. Something that was a bit unusual, for this writer anyway, was the fact that beer was served, and readily consumed whilst watching the game, and infact all the games, no complaints though!
Unfortunately my camera wasn't talking to me then so I've no pictures from this game so here's some more from our visit to Ajax. Here's the training ground from inside the stadium,

and some of the first team squad training while we watched.

This one is what they call the "fans hut" situated next to the
stadium where apparently the clubs "hard core" fans go.
