Renwick: I blame the players

Michael Renwick has laid the blame for Saturday's defeat squarely at the feet of the players.

Speaking after the 9-2 massacre, Renwick said: “It was absolutely disastrous. The players were an embarrassment to themselves, the club and the fans. Some of the players need to take a long hard look at themselves whether or not they are staying with me or moving on at the end of the season.”

I suppose it is down to the players to get results, however Renwick was responsible for bringing in Anderson, Henderson, Murdoch, Fairbairn and called up McLean, Coult and Stevenson from the reserves.
