Peterhead vs Berwick Rangers

Berwick make the lengthy journey north to Peterhead tomorrow, for the second time this season. We were there at the beginning of September when we were unlucky not to come away with any points in a 7 goal encounter.

Back then we were still under John Coughlin's reign and we all thought that we would recover from a bad start to the season. Four and a half months later and things have gone from bad to worse.

Michael Renwick will be forced to include players from the reserves, which is excellent for the reserve set-up, but realistically weakens the side he is able to field. Hawick youngster Andy McLean had a decent game at left back last week, despite his preferred foot being hid right. We may get a first look at defender Robbie Henderson who signed during the week.

My prediction: Peterhead 3-1 Berwick Rangers. They'll be a bit too strong for our watered down team.

Weather: Sunny, 6 degrees
Referee: Euan Norris
Bluesq: Peterhead 8/13, Draw 13/5, Berwick 7/2
