Gary O'Connor Situation

Quite a bizarre episode in the Berwick Rangers soap opera this morning. The official website last night reported that Iain Diack joined Brechin just before the close of the transfer window (I heard we got a couple of grand for him joining early, he has already agreed a pre-contract for the summer).

The bizarre story was further down the page where the club report that out of favour goalkeeping legend Gary O'Connor has joined Stenny on loan until the end of the season. It turns out that he has not joined Stenhousemuir after declining the offer of a loan period. It is a bit of a mystery why the club published the story last night when it hadn't been confirmed.
