Another great
win today at Shielfield, doesn't that sound great, I'll say it again, another, yes another, great win today at Shielfield. In the first half we destroyed them with a couple of sublime goals from the ever alert Darren Gribbon. But O'Reilly weighed in with another and the Red Lichties had no answer at all to what we were doing to them virtually at will. They were able to ease of long before the end, another debate there as to whether they should or not, but never the less another walk in the park for a side who look so at ease. The visitors did pass well especially early on but never threatened. As promised Crease played a new face, there's a joke there, at left back sacrificing Elliot Smith. Apparently he was Eddie Malone but my opinion was he offered nothing that we don't get from Smith on a regular basis. Here's a question, when's the last time, and who was he, that a Berwick players scored back to back hat tricks at Shielfield? Let me know cause I don't.
And looking elsewhere it's great to see the reserves get their season of and running with a great win at Hawick. Not seen any details on this one yet but all in all a great day for everyone in black and gold.
