Went to

the Football Club AGM at Shielfield last night representing the Trusts shareholding. We now have in excess of 67000 shares so it's always worth keeping abreast of what's going on. As it happened there was nothing contentious, changed days eh, with the business being concluded in 12 minutes, that's the best kind of AGM for me! An interesting piece of news for me, given my interest in East of Scotland football, was the confirmation that an application has been submitted to run a reserve team in that league next season. As far as I'm concerned it's fingers crossed.
On a different note Livingston can lift the Third Division title this weekend at Annan if they defeat Harry Cairney’s men and other results go their way. Should Albion Rovers fail to win at East Stirling and Forfar not defeat us at Station Park they would be unable to match Livi’s points total of 67.
If all three sides win a Livingston triumph over Montrose at Almondvale next Tuesday would see them crowned Champions at that point. We all wish them well......don't we??
