I read

that Stirling Albion are the latest team looking into the financial abyss. Can't remember all the details but I think they have a small number of days to sort the situation. In football terms the amount is the equivalent of a few days wages to a premiership player but is enough to threaten the existence of the Stirling Club. No doubt the debate will raise it's head about clubs responsibility to run a tight fiscal ship but I await to hear the latest on the Trusts situation re raising cash to take over the club only for the owner, I hate that word in relation to football clubs, turning down their last bid as insufficient. I certainly wish them all the best.
