Game 15
Berwick 1-0 Queens Park

A hard fought win this one, but unlike Berwick teams of the past the current lot didn't give up and kept playing right to the end, despite several disappointments and close things that just wouldn't go in. And couple that with an inconsistent set of officials and some Spiders players who had obviously been watching too much of Arsenal the reward came, albeit right at the death, and like last week it was greeted with a huge outpouring of emotion from the ducket. Just a wee bit of concern from this writer was the 87 odd people from last week who weren't there today, and that is taking account of possibly similar away supports, come on where are you, we have a winning team for a change. This continues a very good start to the season and was certainly a good way to go into a fortnights break. Mind you today's highlight wasn't on the pitch, but through the PA at half time, when MC Bell caressed our eardrums with some of his sounds of the 70's. I mean the Detroit Spinners and Gloria Gaynor, how cool is he!!!!
